Description: On June 29, 2023, The US Supreme Court in Groff v. DeJoy overruled its longstanding precedent on the standard for undue hardship when evaluating religious accommodation requests and raised the bar on employers. This webinar will discuss:

the new undue hardship standard;

Title VII requirements and obligations regarding reasonable accommodations for religious beliefs, practices, or observances;

how to evaluate whether the belief is sincerely held;

what triggers the accommodation process;

steps in the accommodation process; and

common religious accommodations.
